THE SHEPHERD’s HUT

Our fabulous vintage Shepherd’s Hut has been part of the scenery here at Damson Hill Cottage for a very long time. She’s had a makeover inside, including fresh paint, a comfy double bed and bedding, lighting and a cosy heater. We’re very pleased with her charming balcony and the fact that her exterior still retains bucketloads of original character. The Shepherd’s Hut sleeps 1-2 and when you open the door, you’ll get a lovely view if you fancy enjoying a morning cuppa in bed.

If you stay in the Shepherd’s Hut you’ll have access to Betty the Caravan Cafe anytime. There’s also a firepit with grill top and tripod with hanging pot, a single gas camping stove and a shared bbq and plenty of spaces for sitting, eating and relaxing.

THE HILL CABIN

Specially built to fit snugly into our woodland glade, this lovely cabin sits at the top of the grounds, under the woodland canopy and sleeps 1-4 people. With wide opening front doors and a view of the trees, the Hill Cabin has its own deck with tables and chairs, a fire pit with a grill and a cooking tripod with hanging pot, a single gas camping stove and a shared BBQ so you can cook up some camp fire food before you retire for the night.

Explore the grounds, enjoy a coffee from Betty The Caravan Cafe or join in with one of the fitness classes we hold… and then retire to your pod to relax.

THE VALLEY CABIN

Tucked away in the trees, but nice and close the Betty the Caravan Cafe, is our cosy Valley Cabin. With a large area around the fire pit, there’s enough space inside for up to 4 people to sleep. The valley cabin has double, wide opening doors at the front so you can bring the outdoors in, comfy beds and a decked area where you can sit and enjoy the view.

There’s a fire pit with grill, cooking tripod and hanging pot, single gas camping stove and a shared bbq so you can cook something to enjoy under the stars before you retire for the night. And then you can spend the day enjoying all Damson Hill Cottage and the surrounding areas have to offer.

THE BELL TENT

Our rather wonderful 5 metre Bell Tent may look unassuming from the outside, but inside it’s super cosy and lovely to sleep in whatever the weather. The Bell Tent is a real home from home, with blow up mattresses, soft lighting and heating if you need it. With space to sleep 6 grown ups a few night’s stay in the Bell Tent will definitely convert you to sleeping under canvas.

The Bell Tent is bookable as part of a larger group booking, or as part of an event only so please get in touch to discuss your particular requirements.

BETTY THE CARAVAN CAFE

Our Caravan Cafe is on hand with delicious Moon Roast coffee. a variety of teas and a regular supply of tasty (and nutritious) snacks. We operate an ‘honesty bar’ so you can pay as you go - or settle up at the end of your stay.

THE DINING ROOM

There are always lots of useful bits and bobs on hand for Glampers in our Dining RoomO. You’re more than welcome to use our slow cooker, rice cooker, crockery, nutribullet and extra kettle. There are also lots of lovely cookbooks if you fancy a browse.

If there’s anything else you need then we’ll be around to help.

Our Breakfast Baskets are not only delicious, but are also packed full of all sorts of delicious and nutritious ingredients.

Each basket will include an array of delicious items and you can let us know about any specific dietary requirements or preferences in advance so we can tailor your basket to suit you. Please order in advance..

TAILORED CATERING

If you’re staying at Damson Hill for a celebration, or you’d like to run an event here, we can provide catering for larger groups. ,There’s plenty of room to dine in style on our outdoor deck or in the workshop? We can decorate to suit the occasion with bunting or flowers and then rustle up a lovely menu for you to enjoy with your friends and family.

JOIN IN WITH A PIZZA PARTY | ENQUIRE WHEN YOU PLACE YOUR BOOKING

We have a wonderfully rustic outdoor kitchen at Damson Hill Cottage, and you can use the fabulous pizza oven to rustle up supper if you’re part of a larger group . Please ask when booking if this option is available to you.

PERSONAL TRAINING

From a tailored Pilates class on the woodland deck, 1:1 reformer introduction or energising early morning workout. Just ask.

THE WOODLAND WORKOUT

This Saturday & Tuesday early morning outdoor group workout combines HITT, weight training and running - and you’re very welcome to join in.

HIKING

We can provide lovely routes to hike or walk, whatever your energy levels. And if you’d like to stop at a pub en route, no problem!
