We will firstly gather by the firepit and enjoy a welcome coffee or tea and mince pie energy ball, served from Betty the Caravan Cafe. We’ll then venture into the woodland with our baskets to forage for fronds, foliage and flowers to build and decorate our wreaths. There won’t be any oasis, but hand picked Exton vines (by me!) from just a few miles away in the fabulous Exton Vineyard.
You don’t need any crafting skills. It’s super easy to get a gorgeous result (and I have lots of tips and tricks which I have learnt through practice and am keen to share) so there’s no need to worry that you won’t be able to create a masterpiece that you’ll be proud to display all Christmas long!
Most of all it should be a lovely, festive event to really get you in the mood for Christmas. A chance to get some fresh air, enjoy the great outdoors (and then cosy up inside) and learn a new skill that you’ll be able to use again every year.
Baskets, gloves and secateurs will be supplied, but if you’d like to bring your own please do! Remember to wear appropriate clothing for outside foraging (and maybe outside wreathmaking if the weather allows), but if not, we will be in the studio, so maybe slippers or comfy clothing.
A mulled wine and a bowl of healthy homemade soup will all be served to make your Wild Woodland Wreathmaking experience a memorable one.
